June Pastor’s Message

Who would have imagined, back in March, that we would still be waiting in June to gather for worship? Zion’s leadership is wrestling with the best way and time to reopen which is most safe for all of us, which will allow us to be a truly “gathered” body in worship, and which will be a positive witness to the community. When that time comes, it will look and feel different from what we’ve become used to. What an opportunity to remember who we are and Whose we are, gathered to focus on the one, true, living God who loves us and gave his Son for us, who lives in us by his Spirit.

We encourage you to continue accessing the service on-line, which becomes available Sunday mornings at 10:30, at our website We also “gather” via Zoom conference on Sunday mornings at 9:30. Contact Frank Wampler with questions.

As we pray for each other, let’s continue using the “Saints Pray” cards from our last card exchange.  Thank you for your continued faithfulness in giving, for your patient endurance, and in asking for the Spirit’s guidance for Zion’s direction. We will certainly be facing a “new normal,” but we will do it together under the grace, mercy and peace of the Lord Jesus.
