A recent bulletin insert had the following quote, which I think bears repeating:
“There are many definitions of agape, but the best I know is in one of Edward Nason West’s books: agape means ‘a profound concern for the welfare of another without any desire to control that other, to be thanked by that other, or to enjoy the process.’”
I recently saw a church sign which read,
“I’d rather be an old-time Christian.”
What does that mean to you? Let me know.
